After getting dick teased by the Summer of love promoters for 3 weeks, we were told we would be playing on Sunday at the 10 AM slot. However, the MSOL web site was never changed with the new line up. When we arrived early Sunday morning, our name wasn’t on the will call list. Grrrrrr... We did notice one side gate left wide open and drove in next to the stage and unloaded our gear. The stage crew was puzzled, "you’re not on the list to play"... we’re starting to get pissed. Suddenly, from somewhere comes the news that the band originally scheduled to play, The Raveups, couldn’t make it due to the food poisoning of one of it’s members. Since we already had our gear on the stage and the added fact that Ken's wife, Adele, knew the stage manager from high school days, they said "sure-why not?" So by some cosmic, karmic, syncronicitous fate we were able to play the gig on one of the main stages anyway!
