Happy birthday Joni...you may be gone but you're not forgotten and never will be.I think of you almost daily and wonder if you still exist somewhere out there or if you are able to see us or hear our thoughts.I wonder how these years would have changed you and if you watch my ever present struggle to get it together and do the right thing.I wonder if you can see Sarah.Her face has alot of you in it.I wonder if you hang out with Grandpa now perhaps looking at all of us and shaking your heads together with the ability to see how stupid we all are now that the two of you aren't bound by the ignorance of the human viewpoint.Or maybe you are somewhere else entirely with no memory of this lifetime or its woes.Maybe reborn as someone else?I wonder if we are reborn are we reborn into the same families?Or as the same gender?Your little brother sure is growing into his skin.I think you'd really like who he's turning out to be.Very cool in an earthy way that one.I hope somehow you can see me and have the ability to send messages to me.I sure could use it.Send Grandma some love too she really needs it right now.Perhaps send her a dream let her know Grandpa's ok or you're together on the other side if you are?As much crap as she talked over the years,you know she's lost without him.
