This Leicester troubadour has had records released on Factory and Cherry Red records and has been writing passionately and playing constantly for the last 30 years! A big chap with a bigger voice and heart! We need Kevin Hewicks!!
MELLOW BAKU - welcome return to the SONG CLUB of Leicester's first class singer and performer making a rare outing performing her own songs that cover Jazz, Soul, reggae and Blues. Ably assisted by the cream of Leicester's musicians, IRE THREE.
MY FIRST TOOTH - A Northampton duo that are constantly touring the country at the moment with their take on modern Folk which nods at country. Beautiful music.

THE WONDER STUFF Miles Hunt and violinist Erica Nockalls touted their acoustic album, NOT FOR EXIT, around the country all of last year. Before the next batch of THE WONDER STUFF gigs in the summer, Miles and Erica will be bringing their own eclectic mix of indy/pop/folk songs (as well as some Wonder Stuff favourites!) to The Donkey.

powerful local singer/songwriter currently doing great things in the area. Hints of the Stereophonics in his delivery.
TWENTY BELOW ZERO -
a second time round for this great young, original band fronted by the very talented Darryl Reid. Beautiful, quirky, naive songs and endearing performance. Hot band at the moment.
