Ogni scoperta, se vuole essere davvero intensa, deve essere originale. Dev’essere inedita. Sorprendente. Emozionante. Tanto da farti superare anche le difficoltà. Ecco, la difficoltà tecnica nostra si è affacciata col live di Moderat, l’unione di Modeslektor e Apparat: il collettivo Pfadfinderei ha approntato dei visuals appositi, siamo stati quindi costretti a un piccolo cambio di orario – Kenny Larkin suonerà dopo di loro, anziché prima – per poter permettere a tutti il migliore degli allestimenti tecnici. Perché facciamo del nostro meglio per curare ogni particolare: sentiamo la responsabilità di ospitare con tutti i riguardi possibili il talento dei nostri ospiti; i musicisti ma anche gli artisti-della-luce (Inside-Us-All, magnifici, ma anche DDG e Clichevideo), che hanno lavorato in queste settimane per creare qualcosa di unico per Dissonanze. Grazie davvero.
Qualcosa di unico, ce lo ha detto lui stesso via Skype pochi giorni fa, lo sta preparando anche Timo Maas: motivatissimo, non vede l’ora di esserci! Motivati noi a sentirlo, così come non vediamo l’ora di goderci il live set di Laurent Garnier (una vera band sul palco, guidata dalla “techno head” Scan X, suo storico sodale) e quello di A Critical Mass, unione di strepitosi talenti (date un’occhiata alla biografia, con un colpo di clic sul loro nome nell’elenco della line up). Davvero: siamo pronti ad investigare il meglio della club culture. E siamo davvero onorati di aver avuto in queste settimane l’aiuto e l’appoggio di realtà che sentiamo vicine e che portano avanti un discorso in perfetto equilibrio tra qualità e innovazione, nel solco della miglior club culture: a Bologna l’Associazione Shape (che ora ha un “figlio”, il festival Robot), a Torino Club To Club (il festival in Italia con cui abbiamo più tratti in comune), il collettivo Alta Voz (che ha creato serate popolari assai ma al tempo stesso rilassate).
Every discovery, in order to be classified intense, has to be original. It has to be unpublished. Surprising. Moving. So that it helps you to overcome difficulties. Here it is: our technical difficulty has shown its face with the live set of Moderat, the union of Modeselektor and Apparat; the collective Pfadfinderei has prepared the accompanying visuals, and so we are forced to make a small change to the timetable – Kenny Larkin will play after them, instead of before – in order to allow for the best possible technical set up all around. Since we do our best to attend to every detail: we feel responsible for hosting our guests’ talent with the maximum possible attention and care, the musicians as well as the artists-of-light (Inside-Us-All, magnificent, as well as DDG and Clichevideo), who have worked over the last few weeks to create something unique for Dissonanze. And we are really honoured to have had, over the last few weeks, the help and support of the realities out there that we feel so connected to, and who carry their projects forward, maintaining a perfect harmony between quality and innovation, in the furrows of the best club culture: in Bologna Shape Associated (that now has a “son”, the festival Robot), in Turin Club to Club (the Italian festival with whom we have the most in common), spread though northern Italy the collective Alta Voz (which has created evenings both extremely popular and pleasantly relaxing).
