Current mood: pure
Evening, everybody! Fitch here.
For the last three months, Griffon has been... new. Anyone who has seen us has seen an energy, a power, and a confidence that has never been felt in this band. We've played the best shows of our lives, gig after gig, crowd after crowd, and we owe a lot of that to our brother Jimi Parmenter. Jimi came in on a few weeks notice and learned three hours of music as fast as we could throw it at him, allowing us to keep doing what we do while we determined what was best for our band, our music, and you, the Griffonation.
We can't put into words what Jimi has done for us. He kept us sane in a state of frustration, he made us laugh, and he made us sound the best we've ever sounded. We've shared stages and beers, long rides and laughs, and sweat and blood, the way Griffon always does.
Our time with Jimi has come to an end after this past weekend, and we can't tell you how excited we are to unveil our new brother to you. Bands, however, are families, and your family will never change - Jimi, you'll always be our brother, and we'll always have a cold beer and a warm hand shake with your name on it.
So what's next for Griffon? Come on out Halloween night to Tammany Hall in Worcester and meet our new brother.
Cheers, Fitch
