Randy Kohrs has been honored with his first nomination by the Academy of
Country Music, as well as the mainstream country music industry overall. 
His name is on the ballot in the Top Specialty Instrument category, and now,
the only question is for which instrument did he earn the recognition? 
Chances are, his notorious resonator guitar skills are what caught the ears of
the ACM, but 12 other instruments comprise his musical arsenal.  His reso
skills may be all over the new Dierks Bentley CD, but scanning his discography
finds him credited with banjo on the last Cowboy Troy project, lap steel on
Little Big Town’s latest, and acoustic guitar for Hank III’s new one– to just
scratch the surface!
