Good Morning Mommy
Pressure on my chest and breathe that reeks
A warm tongue reaching finds my cheek
Morning is here and the sun is out
Someone wants me up no doubt
Open my eyes just a crack
A long snout all in black
Greeting me with eyes of brown
As I tell him to get down.
Throw on my robe and weave around
Three wiggling dogs on the ground
It is time for their morning jaunt
Squirrels and Birds outside to taunt
Happy panting reaches my ears
Happy yips replace all tears
Three wiggle dogs say Good Morning
Lost
I reach only grasp air
Wonder if anyone will care
An empty black void
A place I try to avoid
Thoughts swirling and crippling
Like a tide pool rippling
Not knowing right or wrong
Which way to go? Where do I belong?
I feel so lost
