Hey y'all, what's going on? There is much going on in the Building James camp as of late, and it's high time we sat you guys down for a tie-in. So, here's the skinny:
1. Effective June 10th, Building James has 'Passed the Mic' on the Open Mic at Milly's every Tuesday. Our good friends Dually, long time regulars of the mic, will be assuming the hosting duties going forward. We will still be dropping in now and then to make sure they don't mess it up, but we have the utmost confidence in our amigos Dually, and you should too. They kick ass.
Now, I'm sure the first question that has come to mind is WHY? Good question - gold star for you. And there is a good answer! See bullet 2.
2. After much pressure from fans and friends, Building James has headed into the studio. We've secured a location (The soon-to-be famous Studio 154), assembled a spectacular amount of equipment (guitars, percussion, mics, effects, guitars, drums, baffles, a deck of cards, guitars, and congas) and we are currently working ..ting some of the tastiest trax ever digitized to binary code. Phase 1 is recording, Phase 2 is mastering, Phase 3 is post-production, Phase 4 is duplication, Phase 5 is packaging, and Phase 6 is the name of the album. Tentatively. We're actually still undecided about that. BUT – We have time. Building James is only now at Phase 1, sub phase 4.5(ish)
3. There is actually nothing to say here. It just seemed awkward only having two bullets. Feel free to speculate what COULD have gone here, if only we had been able to think of it.
