Well in the 30’s they said no more

Hookah. The sad story of Bongo the  Hookah.

Well Wet Ginger’s as wet as they get

She’s a drinker and a smoker ‘cause

she likes a safe bet.

For years and years she ran the show,

Well hey, where did Bongo go?

‘Til the kids in the 50’s ya they

liked to have a puff, While listening to jazzy

blues, all kinds of crazy stuff.

Bongo…Bongo the Hookah

So the two finally met on the legal

side of town, Wet Ginger shows up in her

blood red gown.

But it was Bongo the ambassador of

delight, Says hey anybody want a light?

Bailiff felt all right so judge took a toke,

Said this old law’s a total joke.

And suddenly Wet Ginger began to explode,

And in a drunken rage it was the judge she

told.

To pour her a drink, bar scotch and

a wink.  Ginger’s eyes went hazy

She passed out, the courts went crazy.
