What a strange weather this summer, isn't it?

I know im the type of person who is sometimes getting fast to conclusion but I think the effects of Global Warming are really striking this year. More precipitations here, less there. Forest burnings, Ice caps melting… at the end we can all feel the repercussions: storms during our favorites summer festivals! That's what happened to 3 festivals last weekends; Dance Valley, Creamfields CE and Monegros. Last weekend I played Dance Valley and we were quite lucky to avoid the rain most of the day! In the morning the valley was completely under water but fortunately the rain stopped and the sun started shinning about an hour before my set. The floor started filling up again at we had quite a massive crowd at the end J I couldn't stay long after my set but Cosmic Gate were already rocking the place when I left… really nice guys by the way! I flew back to Vienna after dinner in Amsterdam and we drove straight to the Creamfields venue to see what was happening. Earlier in the evening my friend Mike was telling me that a massive storm had completely destroyed the main stage and that Sebastien Leger (who was performing) got his arm broken from a falling speaker… I saw on youtube some videos of the accident… looked pretty scary!! I think the guys had to cancel all the outdoor stages… I played later in the night in the techno tent and we had a rocking crowd. I will post some pictures later on.

June was a fantastic month by the way! Thanks to the fans in Canada and USA, I really had a blast during my gigs in June. For the first time in my life I decided to drive almost all the gigs possible during the month. I went to NYC by car and Ottawa, Montreal, Sherbrooke… was awesome! It's a totally different thing to drive to the cities where I play than fly. Calgary was one of the best; I can't wait to go back in November! Oh yeah by the way I want to announce that next year we have a massive 20gigs tour coming up in North America for April and May, I will keep you updated for sure! Also I have a scoop for you; the Transatlantic radio show will be aired  starting from September on Satellite XM Radio. The show will be weekly from September and broadcasted prime time for half a million listeners! If you have any tunes that you want me to play on the show or have requests and ideas please don't hesitate to email me music@djpreach.com :)

Speaking of half a million, it's great to see we hit the 10 000 mark on myspace friends! Keep them coming guys!
Coming up in August; Colombia, Costa Rica, Holland, Canada, Mexico and Spain!! Stay tuned!

btw, i really love the New Coldplay Album Viva La Vida, it's really growing on me this summer!

nice one :) sounds like you had a good month !!! dance valley has been quite unlucky with the weather the past few years.
we were lucky enough to catch a heatwave over there for the decade of dance valley 10th bday!!! amazing!!!!

i searched the leger video, and its quite bad :( right at the end theres just a tumble and crash then the footage stops. i hope that guy is ok. he's an awesome artist.

hey bro!!!

nice article i have to say:) Mentioning Creamfields, if the storm with evil black clouds and dusts appear in North America i am sure it would be tornado. Noone remembers such a disaster here in Czech, even though we are getting used to huge wind stroms last yers during winter periods.

I would like to thank you for your support, you are still my favourite dj, not only because you are bro, but because, and i am sure people that know will agree, you dont have attitude like most djs and stars do and you always try to help and support people. Great respect for you man, i belive that the folowing years will be massive for you.

see you home, take care, Michal
