I decided that it might be a good idea to post excerpts from a few of my articles for those of you who are unfamiliar with my website. These were written between 2002 and 2005.

The verb "to know" in the bible is often used to denote sexual union. It is no coincidence that Gnosis also means Knowledge. In many Gnostic texts, Christ mentions the internal union of male and female aspects as being a key to salvation. Many esoteric traditions around the world include the physical representation of this union as an aid in attaining the internal state of union. One of these traditions which most people have heard about is called Tantra and can be found in Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism (the Taoist "Tantra" is more commonly called "Internal Alchemy.")

Although there will be quite a bit of crossover, the form of Gnosticism that these lessons will concentrate on will be Luciferian. The concept of Lucifer and the Luciferian path will be developed in subsequent lessons. We'll get into some Greek Mythology and investigate some veiled symbology in Genesis. Once we get the basics out of the way, we can really start having some fun with this!

In modern North American culture we typically don't think much about the meaning of names. They are usually just strings of sounds that are either pleasing to our ears or not. However, every name has a meaning which can often be understood as a title or description. To know the meaning of the names of people and places in mythological and religious stories can often unlock a deeper understanding of the text. In the case of gods who have been demonized by conquering religions, we can sometimes even come to an understanding of how the god was originally viewed. The entity Belial is one such example that I would like to discuss. Belial is typically portrayed as a prince of Hell and second in command only to Lucifer or Satan.
