Forum

Mick is aware that his candour may upset some people after reading the book, and has therefore decided to reopen the discussion forum at mickkarn.net for any comments directed at him, or for any other topics that may interest visitors to the site.

Please be aware that the forum was closed down a few years ago due to comments Mick found distastefully aimed at friends and colleagues. Although Mick won't mind what is said about him, he will have no hesitation in taking the same decision again if need arises.

Now that I am further into 'Japan and Self Existence', I am finding it to be truly riveting and engrossing and I recommend it without reservation...but parts of it I can honestly say are not enjoyable, nor do I believe you intend them to be.  The truth is not always enjoyable, is it?  Thank you again for publishing your memoirs to date. x

I am half way through the book and I must say I am enjoying it a lot better than I thought! Feel a bit like a conversation with a good friend that you are getting to know better. Well done :)

Thanks for sharing yr memory and insights. I could put it away once I started reading it. It also made me appreciate you as the person you are, in addition to being the great artist and bassplayer I've always admired.
