If Ever You Are LonelyBy Billy Neeson
If ever you are lonely, just think of me and smile;
If your heart is ever heavy, just sit and muse awhile,
If you should need a shoulder or a sympathetic ear
Then call on me my dearest friend for I'll be waiting here.
If life becomes a burden and its hard to carry on
Just speak my name out loudly, your pain will soon be gone.
If all around you changes, each sight and sound and name
Then call on me, my dearest friend ,for I'll remain the same.
If everything you thought you knew becomes a garbled blur
And all the friends you thought you had are no longer there
When life and love and happiness seem far back in the past
Then call on me my dearest friend my love will ever last.
When you feel that you have reached the point of no return
And all around you seems so bare ,there is nothing left to learn
When all your dreams are broken and scattered on lifes shore
Then call on me my dearest friend,its these times that friends are for.
