Hi prayer warriors, I'm hoping that you can please pray for me, my friend, her baby and our safty home. I'n a very short notice, My friend Lizz needed to leave a bad marriage situation in Boston and left in her car with as much as she could pack and her baby. She phoned me and asked to drive wityh her. She bought me a plane ticket to meet her in Chicago. I flew into Chicago last night from California. Today is our first day together as a family on the journey back home. Thank you Jesus that you have a plan for us. Please guide our steps and bless those we encounter. Please bless Joey Lizzy's husband. In Jesus name, AMEN! Thanks all.

What does this mean to me? This is a pretty big reminder to me to try and see the God in everyone and love the God that I see in them. I DO love when I able to skirt past all the petty quirks of personality and get right down to the basic Goodness, the God, that motivates our hearts in action. When I was a child at church camp, one of my counselors wrote me a note that said:

"The Christ in me loves the Christ in you."

How appropriate!
 

Sometimes the Christ in everyday people is the ONLY quality worth loving ... amen

This scripture has always spoken to me of the beauty of His presence. How I love to gather together with His people where He inhabits our praises. I LOVE going to church, because we each bring our part of the body together and we are more whole, and He is there.
 

I THINK IT IS AWESOME THAT EVEN AMIDST THE EVIL & CHAOS OF THIS WORLD THAT WE CAN SEE THE FATHERS GLORY SHINING THROUGH! I SEEM HIM EVERYDAY AT WORK IN MY LIFE AND IN THE LIVES OF PEOPLE AROUND ME! THANK YOU FATHER FOR REMOVING THE SCALES FROM MY EYES! THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME AND FOR SHOWING YOURSELF TO BE REAL, LOVING AND FAITHFULL..... YOU ARE AN AWESOME GOD!

Alabama Judge

Some of you may be wondering what Judge Roy Moore has been doing since he was removed from the bench for refusing to remove the Ten Commandments from his courtroom wall. Please read the poem he wrote. It's below his picture.





The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama . Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama ! The judge's poem sums it up quite well.





America the beautiful,

or so you used to be.



Land of the Pilgrims' pride;

I'm glad they'll never see.



Babies piled in dumpsters,

Abortion on demand,

Oh, sweet land of liberty;

your house is on the sand.



Our children wander aimlessly

poisoned by cocaine

choosing to indulge their lusts,

when God has said abstain

From sea to shining sea,

our Nation turns away

From the teaching of God's love

and a need to always pray

We've kept God in our

temples, how callous we have grown.



When earth is but His footstool,

and Heaven is His throne.



We've voted in a government

that's rotting at the core,

Appointing Godless Judges;

who throw reason out the door,



Too soft to place a killer

in a well deserved tomb,

But brave enough to kill a baby

before he leaves the womb.



You think that God's not

angry, that our land's a moral slum?

How much longer will He wait

before His judgment comes?

How are we to face our God,

from Whom we cannot hide?

What then is left for us to do,

but stem this evil tide?

If we who are His children,

will humbly turn and pray;

Seek His holy face

and mend our evil way:

Then God will hear from Heaven;

and forgive us of our sins,

He'll heal our sickly land

and those who live within.



But, America the Beautiful,

If you don't - then you will see,

A sad but Holy God

withdraw His hand from Thee.

Memorial Day

A time for picnics, time off work -
Vacations and the "Indy" -
A holiday, too often times
We forget, what it should be.





A time to pay respect to those
Who rallied to the battle cry -
Who gave their lives for liberty -
Those freedoms for you and I.





So many brave and young souls -
Some still struggling through their youth
Who faced and fell willingly
Before wartimes' awful truth.





So as we share this holiday
With our friends or family -
Take a moment to give thanks to
Those who died so we'd stay free.





Let us strive for world peace -
For the end of greed and hate -
For next time, after "the war"
It just may be too dang late.

First I would like to thank God for the words that are sent to us daily from this good book! amen - he is an awesome God! We must continue to hold fast and have faith. Thankful for his kindness, blessings and unconditional love. Even when we forget to say thank you he still is there - still blessing and giving and moving in our favor. I am so thankful.
