My Losing Abilities
Okay, remember in my last note when I mentioned going to the movies this past Saturday. Well, I didn't tell everything that happened that day.

Everyone forgets from time to time. Many people may say, "If it wasn't attached to my neck, I'd lost my mind."
Most of the time they are joking but, I seriously think, in my case, that it's true.

See, this Saturday I went to the movies with GW but, ended up getting lost before we got there. I got so lost that I crossed the Mississippi river, which I suppose it isn't that bad since it's pretty close to LSU and it only requires going the wrong direction on the highway. Something I am completely capable of. Well, the bad thing is that after the movie when I came back I realized that my LSUID card was missing. I freaked out because at first I had no way of getting in. But then, I managed to get someone to let me in. And came to find that I had left it in my room before going to the movies. Later, that same night, I left my dorm and locked myself out of the room. So, this time I had to get an extra key to my room and get someone to let me into the dorm itself.

That was Saturday.
Here's monday.
I went to Chemistry 1200 and got out at 6. While waiting in front of Coates I sat down and laid my keys on the ground beside me. The bottle of water I was drinking from started to get low so, I got up to throw away the bottle, as i finished it off. It was then that I decided to call my friend, who was picking me up to go to Cici's, and see how close he was. Just as I call him he pulls up and I hop in the van. It's not till we get to Cici's when I go to get my money out that I realize that I don't have my keys or the little pouch that has my keys and money in it. I search my purse, I search the van and I can't find them. I remember that I left them on the ground in front of Coates and we search all around but, still can't find the keys.

That was Monday.
On to today.
So, today I have to go through the process of replacing all the crap that I lost. Luckily, I have an extra key to my car and to the post office. I had to get a new room key. And a new LSUID card.
Which was a pain in the butt in and of itself cause at first it didn't work. As in, i would swipe but, it wouldn't let me into the dorm. So, i had to walk all the way back to the Union, to the Tiger card office, and have them recalibrate my card.
During this process I manage to lost my debit card again. Apparently it fell out of the little paper sheath it was in and consequently, out of my hands. I go into panic mode and begin to search all around the Horseshoe area to find the card. A girl walks up and says, "Are you Brittany Pritchard?" and in her hand is my card. She says something about "looking me up on facebook" but, I am so excited to not have to cancel and replace my card, AGAIN, that I hug her. I'm pretty sure I said, "I love you," but, I'm not sure.

So, now I only have to replace my driver's license which may be more of a pain in the butt than the LSUID card and the debit card. Which for me just means....terrible things.
I know that if I were still in KY I could just go to the DMV there and replace the thing cause it wasn't expired. However, here I may have to retake my driver's test.
I AM NOT SURE! I AM NOT SAYING I WILL HAVE TO! PLEASE DON'T ASK ME IF I HAVE THE DRIVER'S LICENSE!
I have posted this all for a reason. So, that I don't have to relive the stress by retelling the story again and again.
Someday in the future I will look back on this and laugh but, right now it's not funny.

But let's take a look at what caused this situation.
See originally, I had put my cards and stuff into the pouch and attached the pouch to my keys thinking, "I have never lost my cards before so, by attaching them to the keys I won't lose either the keys or my cards."
Well, apparently my penchant for losing keys is stronger than my ability not to lose my driver's license, debit card and ARMY card.

So, in the future I will keep my cards and my keys apart. Like I used to, that way if I lost my keys I just lose my keys. Not my world.

Also, i now have campus security and campus info in my phone which is good because in the future if I have another emergency I will already have their numbers.

Due to the stress of Saturday, Monday and today. I am not going out tonight. I think I will just stay in and study.
I don't lose anything that way.

Note to self:
Learn how to pick a lock.

They Have the Right to Know
Just to let everyone know, I found my keys.
They ended up being at the Middleton Library. Apparently, someone from the circulation desk found them and kept them there. I still went through the process of replacing my LSUID, debit card and getting a new dorm room key but, at least I have my driver and military license back. (I'm not in the military but, my dad is. Technically, I have a military dependent license.) Oh, and I also, I have the keys themselves. not just the spares.

Today manged to go by without any silly situations to cause needless stress. Though, I feel like I am in a funk now. A while back, I had the most awesome week ever. This week is just like someone knocked the wind out of me. Like when someone kicks a soccer ball into your chest and it leaves you gasping for breath. That happened a lot to me when I was little and played soccer.

Any who...the real reason I came on here was to share with you all a silly thought of mine.

Sometimes when you ask, "Can I borrow a sheet of paper?" and the person says, "You can have a sheet of paper. Cause I don't want it back after you've used it."
So, i tend to say, "Hey, can I steal a piece of paper from you?" I feel like it is closer to the truth of what I want from you and what will happen with the piece of paper.
Cause technically i am stealing from you cause I have no intention of returning the paper. or paying you back because most of us don't worry about owing someone a piece of paper.

Which makes me think of when someone asks to "borrow" a dollar. I mean, technically, your not going to give them back that dollar so, your stealing it. I guess it counts as borrowing though, since the person gets payed back not with the same dollar but, with another dollar bill. I guess because a dollar bill is worth the same value no matter what it doesn't matter if you return the users original dollar bill or what. Though, technically, taking one thing and exchanging it with something of equal value is 'trading'.
Wouldn't it be weird if someone insisted on you giving them back the same dollar they gave you? Like they absolutely refused to have any other dollar bill because technically that means your trading not borrowing.

Basically, there is stealing and borrowing.
Stealing is when you take something without asking and don't return it.
Borrowing is when you ask for something and return it later.

This that leaves out; when you ask for something and don't return it.
Storrowing?
Bealing?
Bealing...that's a good word.

"May I beal a piece of notebook paper?"
