I am proud and honored to devote some attention here on my own page to someone so good - I had to tell you about it!  This is a privilege for me to bring this great artist to your attention; HEAR THIS:

This new song of hers: "Yesterday, Today & Forever" is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.  Again, that's why I had to tell you about it; one of the greatest talents that I have ever known. The one and only:  Chi Coltrane.

For those of you who are not familiar with Chi Coltrane's past successes, achievements and honors; here is something for you "stat" freaks!  Read this, as there is some very interesting information here.  Check this out:

Chi began as a performer in Chicago's hippest clubs.  But soon after, she made her stunning overseas debut when she starred as guest star of the USA at the International Rock Festival before 50,000 people in Rio de Janeiro.  She returned to the U.S. where Clive Davis signed her to CBS/SONY.  Her first hit was in the U.S.: "Thunder and Lightning"; hitting 12 nationwide.  She went on to have hits in Europe, Asia, and all over the world; with various TOP 5 hits in Germany, hitting 1 in Holland, and holding that position for a month with "Go Like Elijah".  Chi has headlined the stage with other notables such as The Who, The Eagles, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, etc., and aside from her touring, has made guest appearances on numerous Network TV specials, and many top national shows including NBC's "The Tonight Show", as well as hosting and co-hosting various shows.  During the 70's and 80's, Chi was dubbed in Europe, "The Queen of Rock"; and in America, she was called "The First Lady of Rock".  In the Netherlands, she was voted "Top Female Artist" for two consecutive years.  Chi held the 1 position in the Musik Express Popularity Poll in Western Europe.  In 1999 Chi was honored by the 18th Annual Music Industry, at their Annual Pre-Grammy Celebration in Los Angeles, for her achievements in the field of music.  But not only was she honored for her achievements in music, but also for her contribution to peace:  Chi was asked to speak and to perform at the Berlin Peace University, because of her "contribution to peace in the world". 

I think one of the more interesting statistics; was that in the European "100 Best Musicians of the CENTURY" list, Chi was listed in the TOP 50! 

So, back to Chi's NEW song; "Yesterday, Today & Forever":  being a recording artist myself; when I first heard the beauty of this new song, I cannot tell you how GREAT I personally thought it was… Nothing short of "phenomenal"; and judging from her fan mail and comments, she has touched the lives of so many people (many more than I) with her powerful, and inspirational lyrics.  This is truly an amazing artist!  You should buy this CD.  It's great.  Here's where:  www.ChiColtrane.com
