Roots Rock Rebel
Wednesday, September 16, 2009
10pm-12am
CKUT, 90.3FM, Montreal!
Greetings!
We're back to invade your airwaves and ipods this week with another
wonderful edition of Roots Rock Rebel for you.
Our special guest on the program was Chris Murray (aka Venice Shoreline
Chris, aka the One-Man Ska Band), who joined us on the phone from Los
Angeles. Chris is coming up to Montreal as one of the headliners of the
Montreal Ska Festival on October 11 at Club Soda! Hope you enjoy that.
Also, in the lead-up to the Montreal Ska Festival, we are featuring more
interview spotlights on artists joining the festival. Here's what we still
have lined up in coming weeks:
-September 23
Interview with Gideon Blumenthal of Westbound Train
-September 30
Live in-studio set with Stepper!
-October 7
Interview with Matt Collyer of the Planet Smashers
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this week's mix of funk, pizzaz, and joy.
Until next week,
Stay rude, stay rebel,
RRR crew
