i just noticed that i can set the day in which i post a blog to tomorrows date if i want to

so this is tomorrows blog.........but more ambitious because this is now 2010

i havent really done much today to be honest my shoulder doesnt hurt  because someone very clever (detrian) gave me some really good advice on how to get rid of it and there hasnt been any further evidence of extreme sleep activity........er.....in the last 2 years......or so

now ive started this blog i im actually quite concerned about a potential paradox occuring as i am in fact... travelling in time

i dont mean in the dull way that we all do i mean it was half past 8 this morning and now its not... so time has definitely passed......

but in the grand way in whch movies and novels occur..
the proper kind of time travel which is in essence that i have basically sent this blog forward in time without the need to experience the intervening period

a bit like a much less cool marty mcfly.......in fact if my past self is reading this then it should be noted that i am both saddened and disapointed that there are no flying skateboards in the future...... 

i wonder though if by tinkering with the very fabric of time and space would that mean that i will accidentally spawn a parralel blog.........

one in which i can spell the word parallel at the first attempt.........only time will tell though my parallel selves will never be able to tell each other that one of us has finally cracked it

so one of me will live long and happy, secure in the knowledge that parralel is just a dim and distant memory and the other will live a destitute life of self loathing knwoing that parallel is unacheviable...oh how.. i /he...will cry tearing at the walls of his/my discontentment knowing that thats something else he.....i mean .i... cant spell.............a bit like montagues and caplulets at a spelling bee

i clearly dont spend  the next (or last) 2 years learning how to spell which is unfortunate........... 

there is a thing called the "novikov self consisteny principle" which is one of those exceptionally clever ideas by exceptionally clever people who have a lot of time on thier hands.........that deals with the problem like this

novikov says if something might form a paradox by time travelling then that thing has a statistial probability of zero

in laymans terms it basically means that back to the future couldnt actually happen...............

i suspect that novikov hadnt seen back to the future but had probably seen the terminator films and thought them much more likely as a basis for a time space continuum theory

...........this was probably because ZZ Top didnt appear in any of the terminator movies............ though terminator 3 would have been infintely better if they had .....

still the new terminator film which as you may know debuted in 2008 (obviously i have seen it by now as it is 2010) and i can tell you that it does have all 3 members of ZZ Top starring as the evil robot hell bent on killing christian bales character and who can shapeshift between the images of all 3 members of ZZ TOP.....there is a superb moment of irony when frank beard actually grows a beard whilst morphing into one of the other ones who has.......a ......beard

................so il never be able to spell parallel the first time....or statistical it seems....... which is a damn shame
