I saw you on that tour, in Sheffield. I think my then girlfriend even saved the flyer.
One of the high points in my long gig-going life was screaming "Carnival!" at Bikini Kill. Kathleen Hanna said it wasn't on the set list, but then they played it anyway. To this day I tell people "Kathleen Hanna played a song just for me!"

That's fuckin awesome. I remember in '96 when I met my friend Jennie in college how much she liked this band. She introduced me to their music for the first time. I wish I could've seen them live in Berkeley or something. I miss my punk rock girlfriend. I'm just now remembering how I used to have a Bikini Kill album that I stole from the Warehouse b/c I didn't have any money as a kid to buy an album or anything for that matter. I'd forgetten b/c no one had told me what riot grrrls were. In the burbs out here no one was circulating zines that I was aware of. I feel I totally missed out. I'm just rediscovering it now.
