It was an honor to be a part of such a wonderful event. Many of you have asked if I was up for auction, and yes, I did participate, along with my roommate Geoff and several others. Final bid for my date: $12,500, from Susan Gregory and Cindy Jasper, which all goes to the charity, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Tennessee chapter

Total bachelor/bachelorette date bids: More than $45,000.

Thank you to everyone who came for your generous donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Also, thanks to Divine Images Photography and everyone who donated their time and services to the Auction.

Wow! :) That's a hefty some of money for a date with you! :) It's great that you can participate in a charity like that! From the pictures, the event looked like a great time. Thanks for sharing!

It's so great to be a part of something that really makes a difference! I try to get involved with breast cancer awareness events since my mom passed in 2001. I also have a good friend of mine that has been battling leukemia on and off since we were in high school. So, I personally thank you for the support! I hope you have fun on your "date". Have a great weekend!

Travis...

I found your profile on my sister's top 8 friends, she is a student @ Vanderbilt Law. Coincidentally, I have been going to Vanderbilt for the past two years. The Hospital... I have been a Stem-Cell Clinic patient. I recieved my autologous stem-cell transplant a year ago. I have been in remission from Stage 4b Hodgkins ever since. I just wanted to leave you a note expressing appreciation for your efforts with LLS of TN. They were very helpful during the treatment process.

                                                       Stay philanthropic,

                                                                             Thomas Hartzog

Ms. Pink Floyd

I was there! on behalf of the nashville scene, I was invited. may I ask you, sweets, what can regular everyday's like me do to help this horrible fight against cancer? nearly everyone I've ever known (including myself) is touched (terribly pained) by the disease, even two, three fold for some...how do we help? I could offer myself on dates for money (to donate, of course!), but I'm not completely certain of the legality in all that...

in case no other woman has (blink-blink) ...I must thank you for your kind heart.

My brother in law lost his father to Hodgkins Lymphoma a few years ago after a long battle...my heart goes out to all the families and friends who are affected by this disease and to those of you who continue to fight for this cause, thank you.

DEVON'S DREAM HELPING SENIOR HOUNDS ACROSS US!

That is awesome! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is such an amazing organization that has helped so many people. I've done the Rock 'N Roll Marathon in San Diego with Team In Training and am doing the Marathon in Phoenix next year, which benefits Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I was about to give up at the 16th mile and a man was holding a sign cheering and it said, "Thanks to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society I've been cancer free for 5 years". I made it to the end and will never forget that experience.

i know a few years too late, but thank you for helping out for a great cause. my grandfather died feb 2006. he was diagnosed with nhl in '97. its because of the society that he lived as long as he did, because he was told by all sorts of dr's that he wouldn't make it past 3 years with it and he lived much longer thanks to the medical research funded by the organization.
