I am on the other side of the world in Seoul, Korea right now waiting for my connection to the Philippines. It's around 5AM and I have a 4 hour layover then a 3 hour Flight to Manila. This is my first time I'm stepping foot in Korea and I haven't been to the Philippines since '99. The flight was super long from JFK to Seoul it took 14hours. I almost had to sit in a middle seat but luckily they put me in a window seat in the exit row. The middle seat would have been torture. The seat I was in had so much legroom (see the pick in the link below) and it reclined pretty far back. It also had a personal TV and an electrical outlet so I can plug in my laptop. Having my laptop, ipod, schoolwork, and a book to read kept me plenty busy when I wasn't sleeping. If the plane had Internet that would have been awesome. My neighbor was pretty friendly he was a businessman from Jersey City, NJ but originally from West Africa so it was cool talking to him., he was on his way to China for business. It was odd he had multiple businesses. He was the first cab driver to have a hybrid taxi cab in NYC. He said it gets 60miles to the gallon. He showed my some news article about it. It seems he just has a cab medallion as an investment. After speaking with him I definitely need to travel more.

It's been a while since I have flown on a really long flight they give passengers hot towels and a care package with socks, toothbrush, and eye covers. We also had two meals one dinner I had a Korean meal bibimbop and for breakfast I had an omelet. I'm not really hungry sitting here in the airport but I had to get some Korean food in Korea just to see how it was.…….
