OLD PICTURES OF EXPO PARK
Here are the pictures I found of Expo Park in the 30's. People enjoyed my bulletins so I decided to put them on the blog...I do not know who took them but they came from Park Investment's collection.

Thanks so much for sharing these photos! When I first moved to Dallas (late 80's), I was forever getting lost. I always ended up in Expo park. It's no wonder I eventually wound up working & living there.

Very cool.
Would have been around the time of the big Texas Sesquicentennial Fair or Exposition that most of Fair Park was built for.
If you walk across the street to the Hall of State they have a ton of cool stuff downstairs showing the history.
It's free.
