We've been so excited about what God is doing that we wanted to shout it out! We just returned from a three week trip to Michigan and Ohio and ministered in 5 churches. What was cool is that 2 of the churches were vineyard churches and the door to minister in them happened after connecting with the pastors over coffee. The Holy Spirit showed up during coffee (my favorite time to be with the Holy Spirit) and before I knew it, they asked if I could come to their churches.
The focus of our ministry has become all about experiencing Jesus. We realize that if you can help someone experience Jesus, worship will flow in new depths. It's easy for Christians to worship from the last thing He did or someone else's experience with Him but without everyday, relationship with Him, experiencing who He is, how do we experience new depths? So often, worship leaders expect people to worship without knowing what or why they are doing it and it can become stale. Our passion is increasing to impart relationship, experience and seeing worship go deeper!
On the Saturday night, in Michigan, we saw so many healings. Whoo, GOD! Hips, toothache, shoulders, and knees, etc. – it was so amazing! It was great to return to a church in Toledo and hear how someone's life had gone from hopeless to hopeful and now is now flourishing because of what was shared the last time we were there.
Our most favorite workshop to do with churches is one on creativity. Jesus told us to help people realize how creative they are. Once you help them – they can fly. We did two of these in different churches. Seeing what came out of these sessions were incredible. We also were so excited to be with Marc and Kim Dupont. We are a part of their apostolic network and attended their annual conference for New Song while we were there. We were so blessed by the fellowship in the network and felt refreshed and renewed coming away from it.
The last Tuesday night before I came home, I went to a youth group in Springfield, OH. Each Tuesday night they get about 50 – 60 teens coming to their youth meeting of which only about 5-10% are saved. I did some really interactive worship with them and watched them experience Jesus. It was incredible. I shared testimonies of who Jesus is and what He's done for me. Then I asked who wanted to receive Jesus into their hearts and about 25 or more teen raised their hands. Wow, Jesus, You are amazing!!!!!
That's all for now. I will write more soon.
