Hey everybody.Gorilla Warfare is currently looking for a new bass player. Our old bass player Dan had been playing with us for a little over 2 years now and will be missed.He is unable to do the band anymore & recently let us know he doesn't have the free time for practices & shows due to working 2 jobs and family stuff to take care of. SOOOOO......
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PLAYING BASS FOR GORILLA WARFARE, hit us up with a message.Here is some info about how we do things,some short term goals & what we expect:
1.)We practice once  per week (minimum)or twice a week(max)- normally
2.)We play on average 2 or 3 shows per month
3.)We plan on writing & recording 3 to 5 brand new songs between now and December.
4.)We plan on going out for a short 5 or 6 day mini-tour of the East Coast in early 2010.
5.)We don't want anybody in the band that does drugs.We're not straightedge so we don't mind if you smoke cigarette's or drink a beer, but we don't need or want anybody that uses drugs.
6.)Ideally,we would like somebody that is willing to make at least a one year commitment to our band. It does us no good to take the time to train somebody new to learn the songs we already have in our set list,plus help write and record our new songs we're gonna record, just to have them bail,flake out, or quit on us a few months later.If you don't think you can give us about a year of your time,effort, and commitment then please don't waste our time.We want somebody that wants to have fun but that is serious about music too.
