Advertising Director responsible for hiring and training the sales staff, setting budgets and, with the publisher, setting sales targets and strategy. Depending on the size of the magazine, he or she may also handle accounts

Sales Representative works in the field handling accounts and making presentations. He or she may have a sales territory or specific responsibility, such as retail or national. An inside sales representative works on telephone sales

Writers for features, interviews, and music reviews

Columnists in tune with the technical aspects of the music industry, such as producer tools and gadgets

Regional correspondents to report on local trends and events

InternsS.F. & Houston Area Based interns for all areas of magazine production and distribution
Interns should be sharp, creative and enthusiastic young individuals with a strong desire to learn about the publishing and music industry. Candidates must be highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. Excellent writing/proofreading and interpersonal skills are necessary. Interns can receive college credits.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-- Assisting with product management and development including data entry
and scheduling maintenance
