I leave for Cornerstone festival a week from Saturday. Does that make me a traitor?

My sister promised that she wouldn't schedule her wedding during cornerstone, and then she went ahead and scheduled it for the day we leave! Always making my life hard haha. Anyway, It's important when you work for something like this to remember that we aren't competing with each other. The ultimate goal is the same. And that makes my life easier cause I LOVE Cornerstone! I had the pleasure of meeting John Herrin, the founder of Cornerstone while I was in Nashville a couple of weeks ago. Its such a blessing to be able to work together with Godly people and I'm excited about the things we can do for each other! Going to cornerstone gives me the chance to actually see some shows since I am usually running around at our festival and I miss most of the bands! I remember waiting almost an hour til just after midnight for Mewithoutyou to play a few years back. My feet hurt, I was tired, and it was about 110 degrees inside that tent. But when Aaron Weiss came on stage all of those things were forgotten. they played "Catch for us the foxes" from beginning to end that night and it was almost a lifechanging experience. I remember When Underoath closed the main stage a few years back. I remember thousands of kids singing along with the band, "Jesus, I'm ready to come home". I remember two years ago when The lead singer of The Devil Wears Prada was sick, so 4 or 5 lead singers for other bands at the festival learned the vocals and did the show by committee. And I remember when Josh Scoggin from the chariot sat on his knees from exhaustion on the stage and cried out to the crowd to "Come and worship with me!!!!" These are the moments that I won't ever forget. these are the things that I love about live shows. And these are the moments and memories that I hope you guys can create and hold on to when you drive away from Rev Gen. 16 hours to Bushnell IL, wish me luck...
