Finally an AFRICAN woman on the supreme court. I know they(the GOP) are gonna try hard not to let her in but she deserves to be there. If it was up to me she would definitely be there....but lets just see what happens. Sotomayor is from the South Bronx and she is a product of slavery but does that make her unfit to serve on the supreme court? Thurgood Marshall(the first AFRICAN ON THE SUPREME COURT and the lawyer behind BROWN VS. THE BOARD OF EDUCATION) was also a product of slavery and he along with Adam Clayton Powell are the only reason that my parents, yes my parents, were the first AFRICAN generation in this country allowed to go to college with white people. That was in 1968 and they only gave AFRICANS the right to vote in this country in 1964(my grandmother was already 40 and my father was already 15 at this point in time) cuz of BOBBY KENNEDY(A CATHOLIC, BROTHER OF JFK OUR ONLY CATHOLIC PRESIDENT BTW)....THEY KILLED Bobby along with MLK the same year. BTW do you know it was illegal for Catholics and Jews(check the history of Baruch College) and Africans to go to school with Anglo Saxons in America and thats why we have Public schools(thank the Africans for that) and Catholic Schools( thank the Irish and Italians for that) in this country. Hopefully she gets approved by these elitetists.
