Counter to the effete delusions and faint praise of Mr. Voorhees, Barack is not your ordinary sort of conservative. His corporate dalliance and cat-dancing with deconstructionists reflects a broader game than Van might guess. Obama's depths have not been properly plumbed. And his associates are not likely to include such stereotypes as Mr. T Coddington might prefer...
If T. Van Seven expects a corporate joyride with appertifs... he might be in for a rude sort of awakening. Barack is a man of many layers whose governing style may inspire and amaze as often as it might disturb some few.
A few heads will roll at the sound of the other shoe dropping, while too many will fade into a vainglorious sunset of expectations. It is edifying to recall that there are no conservatives among the current lot in the White house. Nor are many found among those referenced in this ode to sour grapes.
Conservatives, alas, are as elusive as Liberals, Socialists, or Obmatons...
