Current mood:full from love Category: Travel and Places
So where should I start.... maybe it was staying in Devil's Den or maybe it was the wrath of God that stormed down on us when we left.... maybe it was going to get groceries and finding myself in front of the Home Amelia Earhardt was born in.... Maybe it was the Lewis and Clark Historic Village where we spent the night and ran into Julie Schurr (incredible songwriter and, I'm finding out, a great friend)
Somehow it turned into my first actual show outside the southeast and I must say the girls in Nebraska made me wish I'd done this years ago!!!
Thank you to all my new friends for being so supportive and a huge thank you to Julie for sharing her booking with me.
For all of you who are keeping up -- You were right this is absolutely what I have been craving... and it is way worth the anxiety I had about not being able to afford it... as it turns on I couldn't afford not doing it.
To all my friends who actually put out money to help me with this, I won't ever find the words to show my gratitude but I'm keeping you all close to my heart as I travel and I'm coming back with some really kick ass stories.....
I love you guys
