VC FILMFEST closes out Festival Week 2007 at the Aratani/Japan America Theatre with the Los Angeles premiere of THE REBEL. Action, adventure, romance and a touch of black magic are mixed in with a healthy dose of nationalism in 1920s Saigon as a government agent and the daughter of a rebel peasant flee the clutches of a malevolent turncoat.
