Last week was hectic but satisfying. In a period of one week I traveled from Amsterdam to San Diego from there to Dubai and then heading to Moscow. So u can imagine it was very good for my air miles J. San Diego was inspiring and it is city where u can totally relax and not hectic at all. It has a positive vibe but that's simple cause the sun is shining there 365 days a year. The promoter was an awesome guy and the night before my show we went to a club where my good friends Cosmic Gate were playing. I didn't knew they had to play so u can imagine they were surprised when I walked into their DJ booth. We had some good fun as always! Saturday night I played at this amazing venue ' On Broadway' where I met DJ Dan. It was nice hanging out with him and funny to see how he was going wild on my set.
After my short visit to the USA I was heading for Dubai. It's hard to suffer those jetlags but the vibe and atmosphere of the places where I come gives me loads of energy. I don't need that much sleep cause I think that's a waste of time but I try to be aware of what I'm eating and always do my workout and short run after a long flight. Sounds like a healthy sportsman but it helps me to feel fit and to perform at my maximum, every show again!
Dubai was hot cause it is summer over there. I've never been to Dubai and this was my first time but definitely not my last! It al looked very nice but also as a city in progress. Everywhere u come they are constructing and building. I spent my time mostly at the swimming pool cause it was to warm to do any sightseeing. I played in the Lodge, a beautiful venue and where the people are up for it. I played a lot of new tunes from the forthcoming album and it was good to see the positive reactions of the crowd…so be aware!
The show in Dubai was subliminal and from Dubai I headed for Moscow. I played there already a few times and it was nice to see my friends again. Moscow is one of that cities that is so huge and never sleeps. I played at a street race festival in the centre of Moscow. It was nice and the Russian people know how to party! It was a lot of fun and the thing I like about playing in so many countries is that a lot of people give me their demo's. It surprises me that there are a lot of talented producers out there which is good for the scene. I always try to listen to it and give some feedback or play it cause I know from my own experiences how important it is to develop yourself….
