Category: Religion and Philosophy
it's fun to play with certain ideas......and i've studied physiology extensively, as well as philosophy.  so i know that everything we see, even....is a process of interpretation by the brain of signals from the optic nerve.  the fact that we all can agree that an orange is round, for instance.....does not necessarily mean we are all seeing the same thing.  that philosophy is not new.....and many have already speculated that what some see as red, for instance.....may be entirely different for another, but they both call it red and agree that it is red.  that doesn't mean they are actually "seeing" the same color or experiencing the same reality.

what we envision, in fact.....according to our science....is upside down.  the process of refraction creates a vision that is upside down as the information travels to the brain.....which then corrects and perceives everything as right side to.  the optic nerves cross inside the brain.....so what you see on the left, goes to the right, and what you see on the right goes to the left.

but however the "hardware" works....the brain will make corrections.  i have a hole in my retina.....but there is no hole in my vision.....because my brain fills it in.  the very first time i got glasses, tables were tilting and floors were rising up in the corners......you see, i have an astigmatism.....and when they corrected that for the first time.....my brain had already corrected it for me.  so when the glasses did the correction before the images went to my brain, it created an "opposite" effect.....what my eyes are actually seeing is surfaces tilting upward, and corners of the floor tilting downward.  but then my brain learned to fix that.....again.  and now, when i wear glasses it knows to correct that over-correction, and when i go without my glasses, it knows to change that again, and correct what it sees in the usual way.  and it does it in a hair's second, so i never see things in a weird way anymore at all.  people don't give the brain enough credit for being the amazing tool it is.  it adapts better than anything bill gates could ever design with those infernal "updates."

with my artwork.....i have next to no ability for creating a proper perspective.  i try to sketch a couple sitting on a bench, and no matter how hard i try, it will look like they should be sliding off the bench.....lol....and i think that's because i have never TRULY experienced real perspective, according to those working a majority.  but what if MY natural vision is actually the way everybody is supposed to be seeing?

eh well....writing a damn book here.  i just find it interesting.....and it's worth questioning.  i think everything is there, whether we perceive it or not.....my answer to "if a tree falls in a forest, and no one is there, does it make a noise?"  my answer is yes, because you don't suspend the laws of physics for the sake of perspective.  however........there are enough unexplained occurrences and magic, for lack of a better word.....that would indicate our science is not getting the full picture.

they are trying to learn more with particle research.  but i think there should be more study on how we process information.  because the reason our science is off.....is because we are not "seeing" right.  consider it a thing like if EVERYBODY had the genetic property of being born with the same astigmatism.

see, then we would be agreeing that what appears to go uphill, is something that is easier to walk, and we would make up a law that explains that, in the same way that we made up a law of gravity that explains how it's easier to walk downhill.  that doesn't mean that's what's going on. and if the majority experienced more ease of walking going uphill, we wouldn't KNOW we were seeing it wrong.  and a perfectly smooth cornea would be considered the "wrong vision" that needs correcting.  instead of doing lasix to make the eyeballs perfectly round....we would be using it to create the waves in it that would make it match the rest of the "normal" population.

and we have a belief that we unlocked the smallest particles to observe ever, with the electron microscope.  but what if we didn't?  and i'm serious.....what if what we consider to be a proton within a molecule....what if a proton has its own specific structure, as individual as every element itself?  so what if not all protons are the same, they just look the same to us because we can't SEE any further into matter than the atomic level?  what if all iron looks like iron to us....but it's not all the same.  and since they seem to keep "discovering" more elements.....and find it harder to explain some of the bigger questions....the most logical and probable explanation.....would not be that we are constantly "discovering things".....but rather, that a major flaw in our design, has created a sort of mass delusion within a limited perspective.

in some ways, it's the questions of what we don't perceive that the current particle science is trying to answer......but IF we are all SEEING WRONGLY to begin with (and this is what they fail to consider).....it doesn't matter how far we take it.  we will always be off with our science....but in some ways that could be good.....because i like magic.....i like seeing a sunset and experiencing wonder.

stephen donaldson says, only those without power, are ones that truly belong to innocence.  and i believe he is correct.  and man must stay innocent.....despite himself.

another interesting thought.....since our earth is perceived as a three dimensional circle, with us standing on the outside.....then when you are walking from your living room to the kitchen, you are actually walking up or down hill....depending on your relation to the axis, and what you want to call up verses down.  lol.....

and what if.....in reality......our planetary existence is more akin to being on the INSIDE of a three dimensional circle.  would we know?  even with sending rockets off the planet....what if there is a type of what we call "black hole" or dimensional rift that then occurs, creating what we like to call "space."  and the "burning part" in the atmoshere, is that transition.  what if all our satellites are existing in a different dimension or reality......above us, but it's not above us, it's further INSIDE us......lol.

and then what we consider a black hole.....is permanent damage to that "inner space" creating a path for anybody that goes in it, to land back on earth.

you see......we just call the earth a "globe".....that doesn't mean it's like an orange.  even with "pictures" from "space".....all that means is that's how the pictures came out!  lol...that somehow managed to build lenses with the same defect that we consider perfect......and you get down to the point, where the only truth we have, is that it is ALL relative.  but relative to WHAT?  if we can use our minds to disprove everything.....where do we find the one element of "truth" by which all else will be measured.  because we see where going with the beliefs of "majority" has gotten us......hoards of people worshiping money, without even realizing the entirely fictional nature of the monetary system.  schools that teach our children and teenagers, to memorize, rather than THINK.

what is the one truth.......i think, therefore i am?  too general.....and a little creepy.  i believe that the one truth, is that "a kiss is still a kiss."  maybe when we die, we find out more....but maybe we find out less!

(and yes.....thinking about stuff like this is why i'm a nutcase.  but it's also why i'm not)

As always I find your perceptions and perspective on these things fascinating. I think studying these theories must be a tremendous exercise in discipline and cognitive expansiveness. Not sure that was too well expressed as I'm hardly well-read on these subjects yet learned something here for sure. Hugs.

I agree.  Always looking for more of that view.  Really interesting, E!  Fascinating really.  If I tried to draw the couple on the bench they'd probably end up being on the ground.

lol.....well, you should have seen my art teacher.....you could actually see the blood boil around his ears, as he tried to explain me how i should be fixing everything.....and the lines you use for determining perspective.  which doesn't help ME, when even the lines are off......*grins*

as innocently as possible he writes....I see things bassackwards beccause I have lysdexia and I am color blind (true about the last part...up for debate about the rest)......very interesting stuff, E...maybe you should write a book....

and the only reason they catch those who are "color blind" is because there is a perfect inversion of two known shades.  if there wasn't that complete 180, they wouldn't know.  and also, the question of the day becomes, is it EVERYBODY ELSE that is "color blind".....and those who are deemed color blind, are actually the ones closer to reality......and the fact that we have those with a perfect 180 transference of perception in color, would indicate a VERY high probability that there are many who have 90 degree and 50 or even .0003 degree perceptual differences in the realm of "color."

you see, our whole belief that "majority rules" really screws us up.....even in science.  yes, in some ways, it is logical to assume that what is most prevalent, is the rule by which to measure.  but even in so doing....scientifically, we should be considering the averages and the means, and be determining a percentage of probability for fact.  in other words.....instead of telling the public that "UV rays are what damage your skin"......technically, they should be telling us "there is a 35% probability that UV rays are the element in sunshine that damages skin."  or an 85 %....whatever.  but we should be getting some numbers....not just told these random "facts" that change to suit the "TV zar's" wish for public belief.

and that's why i don't trust a darn thing that they feed to the public these days.  because we HAVE computers now.....to compute those numbers.  there is NO reason to be leaving that information out........as in NONE.  the only reason possible for them to not be using a system such as that, for explaining the probability of their proofs.....is because they want to control what the public sees as scientific reality.  and since most average joes don't have the means to dissect sunshine.....we are left "believing" whatever is "determined" as having a high enough probability to qualify as "truth."

most people don't even have the ability to realize, that the term "UV" or "ultraviolet rays" is something THEY MADE UP.  lol....it didn't "come" with sunshine.....lmao!  and it is VERY possible, that the product which they call a UV ray is actually made up of hundreds of other properties that they were unable to detect.....and thereby unable to "name."

it's actually kind of funny to watch it all.......and you get people like my sister.....that consider what they are fed to be the word of god, and that is that.  and i just sit looking at them....thinking that barnum was right....

it was a trip when i first tried those glasses.  and then they explained to me why.....which was interesting.  sometimes i think of throwing the glasses away, because we never know if there's a reason we see the way we do.....

Well that will have me pondering for awhile...I like the whole thought process you presented here and with my metaphysical background it all makes perfect sense.

and just because the majority all see something a certain way.....doesn't make that perspective correct.
