Category: Religion and Philosophy
it's fun to play with certain ideas......and i've studied
physiology extensively, as well as philosophy. so i know that
everything we see, even....is a process of interpretation by the brain
of signals from the optic nerve. the fact that we all can agree that
an orange is round, for instance.....does not necessarily mean we are
all seeing the same thing. that philosophy is not new.....and many
have already speculated that what some see as red, for instance.....may
be entirely different for another, but they both call it red and agree
that it is red. that doesn't mean they are actually "seeing" the same
color or experiencing the same reality.
what we envision, in fact.....according to our science....is upside
down. the process of refraction creates a vision that is upside down
as the information travels to the brain.....which then corrects and
perceives everything as right side to. the optic nerves cross inside
the brain.....so what you see on the left, goes to the right, and what
you see on the right goes to the left.
but however the "hardware" works....the brain will make corrections. i
have a hole in my retina.....but there is no hole in my
vision.....because my brain fills it in. the very first time i got
glasses, tables were tilting and floors were rising up in the
corners......you see, i have an astigmatism.....and when they corrected
that for the first time.....my brain had already corrected it for me.
so when the glasses did the correction before the images went to my
brain, it created an "opposite" effect.....what my eyes are actually
seeing is surfaces tilting upward, and corners of the floor tilting
downward. but then my brain learned to fix that.....again. and now,
when i wear glasses it knows to correct that over-correction, and when
i go without my glasses, it knows to change that again, and correct
what it sees in the usual way. and it does it in a hair's second, so i
never see things in a weird way anymore at all. people don't give the
brain enough credit for being the amazing tool it is. it adapts better
than anything bill gates could ever design with those infernal "updates."
with my artwork.....i have next to no ability for creating a proper
perspective. i try to sketch a couple sitting on a bench, and no
matter how hard i try, it will look like they should be sliding off the
bench.....lol....and i think that's because i have never TRULY
experienced real perspective, according to those working a majority.
but what if MY natural vision is actually the way everybody is supposed
to be seeing?
eh well....writing a damn book here. i just find it
interesting.....and it's worth questioning. i think everything is
there, whether we perceive it or not.....my answer to "if a tree falls
in a forest, and no one is there, does it make a noise?" my answer is
yes, because you don't suspend the laws of physics for the sake of
perspective. however........there are enough unexplained occurrences
and magic, for lack of a better word.....that would indicate our
science is not getting the full picture.
they are trying to learn more with particle research. but i think
there should be more study on how we process information. because the
reason our science is off.....is because we are not "seeing" right.
consider it a thing like if EVERYBODY had the genetic property of being
born with the same astigmatism.
see, then we would be agreeing that what appears to go uphill, is
something that is easier to walk, and we would make up a law that explains that, in the same way that we made up a law of gravity that explains how it's easier to walk downhill. that doesn't mean that's what's going on. and if the majority experienced more ease of walking going uphill, we wouldn't KNOW
we were seeing it wrong. and a perfectly smooth cornea would be
considered the "wrong vision" that needs correcting. instead of doing
lasix to make the eyeballs perfectly round....we would be using it to
create the waves in it that would make it match the rest of the
"normal" population.
and we have a belief that we unlocked the smallest particles to observe
ever, with the electron microscope. but what if we didn't? and i'm
serious.....what if what we consider to be a proton within a
molecule....what if a proton has its own specific structure, as
individual as every element itself? so what if not all protons are the
same, they just look the same to us because we can't SEE any further
into matter than the atomic level? what if all iron looks like iron to us....but it's not all the same. and since they seem to keep "discovering" more elements.....and find it harder to explain some of the bigger questions....the most logical and probable explanation.....would not be that we are constantly "discovering things".....but rather, that a major flaw in our design, has created a sort of mass delusion within a limited perspective.
in some ways, it's the questions of what we don't perceive that the current particle science is
trying to answer......but IF we are all SEEING WRONGLY to begin
with (and this is what they fail to consider).....it doesn't matter how far we take it. we will always be off
with our science....but in some ways that could be good.....because i
like magic.....i like seeing a sunset and experiencing wonder.
stephen donaldson says, only those without power, are ones that truly
belong to innocence. and i believe he is correct. and man must stay
innocent.....despite himself.
