I can't really give you an answer why nothing has been written here since we broke up this past September.  All four of us have just jumped into the rest of our lives and I personally haven't really sat down to think about it for more than 10 minutes at a time.  Being in a band with the same guys for 8 years will tally up an unimaginable number of memories that get better with age.  Our last show is among the top if not the number one memory for me.  Seeing all of you who made it out to the show in Waco hit me hard in the gut and reminded me of how many people appreciated our music.  I know that there were many more that could have come had they been able to and I want you to know that we thank you for the support and encouragement and love that you've given us.  Lord knows we needed every bit of it.
To dispel any rumours circling around the break up, it was pretty short and sweet, no one attacked another person, no regrets were formed from it.  The time had come for us to move onto other areas that we truly wanted to experience.  Some of us will continue to do music as I'm sure a handful of you have picked up on our new projects.  So don't take this as some sign that we have all thrown in the towel and given up our creative urges.
Lastly, I hope that the music we made and the shows that we played will be cherished by you as much as they are by us.  While the songwriting and recording process brought about great excitement to the group, we always enjoyed performing live any chance we got, whether it was in a friends living room or a dirty bar.  We created a sort of hyperactive joy that surrounded the four of us and kept us distracted from everything else that was going on around us.  I have never been able to explain what it is that happened each time we played, nor do I think it's something you can just deconstruct.  What I do know is that for the past 8 years I fell into this temporary state of focused interaction of excitement, rage, sadness, happiness, and love every time I picked up a guitar and made music with these three other guys.  And I know that we all felt something close to that; whether we were onstage, feeling compelled to wander onto the stage, or standing out in the crowd amongst our friends.  Thank you for the memories,
Evan

Thanks Evan. The concerts were better each time and the memories unforgettable. There was never a dull moment and although Ethan Durelle is no more, they will never be forgotten. Btw, what side projects have branched out since the last concert. I was out of Waco for a year, and am a bit aloof when it comes to new bands. Thanks again for everything.

I love you guys, and it has been an honor to watch you progress in music and as people over the last few years. Its sad so see it end but you made an impact while you did it and your music will be remembered and cherished forever. I'm so glad I got to know you guys outside of the band you are all amazing people! Be blessed in your endeavors.

THE QUIET FEW

Well it was a good run! I will always have fond memories of this band, and I hope the projects all you you move onto have as much heart as this band did!

Blessings,
Ryan
