Hey friends! We're proud to announce that Velella Velella has been signed to Hush records! You may have noticed Hush included in our top 8, and it's no coincidence, as they're fast becoming one of our favorite of favorite folks. Hush will be giving our album The Bay of Biscay a proper release on May 8th, 2007, and Velella Velella will be touring down the west coast in early May as well. A larger, national tour in the fall is in the works too, so you on the East coast, stay frosty!

We are making good progress on our next full-length release too- it's been a while coming, but it's going to be worth the wait- Brass ass, Alex Boom Selector, Hey Cuz are just the beginning...

Huge thanks are in order to Chad at Hush Records for being awesome and putting faith in us, and most of all to everybody who's listened and encouraged us, clapped your hands, moved your feet, shaken your fists, shaken your hips.
