Thanks to everyone for all your well wishing. A few days ago I came down with a severe flu bug, I did a show in Phoenix and on the flight coming home there was some guy hacking away and I just know he infected the entire plane.
So I have been bedridden for 4 days straight and today I am vertical but feeling still dreadful. I am due to fly out to London tomorrow and I am so far away from being able to do that it’s not even funny. And I have no interest in infecting anyone else frankly.
So I have had to cancel my entire trip. All 5 shows. You have no idea how sickening that is for me (flu aside!). A great deal of promotion, energy and preparation goes into every show we do and to have to cancel and let so many people down is hell for me. I know there are several folks coming from far and wide to make these performances. All I can do is apologize. And I know everyone has been so understanding but still it sucks.
So with that, I am about to heat up some chicken soup!
