TO CALL IT BLUEGRASS IS JUST TOO EASY! THE GIPSON AND FITZ TRIO TO RELEASE "RAIL CAR"

JUNE 7, 2008 (COLUMBUS, OHIO) - The Gipson and Fitz Trio is releasing their debut CD, Rail Car, at the 2008 Columbus Arts Festival this weekend. The Trio is a festival headliner and will be featured on the Club Stage Saturday June 7, 2008, at 8 p.m. Rail Car will also be available direct from the band and through online distribution later in the month.

About the Band: Based out of Columbus, Ohio, the Gipson and Fitz Trio have been performing together since January 2006. The Trio collectively entertains audiences with an original blend of Bluegrass, Americana, Folk and Southern Rock. Members Brant Gipson, Mark Fitzharris and Billy Cory are no strangers to the stage, having appeared in various projects – the most notable of which were "Uncle Sam's Dream Machine" (www.usdm.com), the "Uptown Elephant Company" and the "Teeny Tucker Band" (www.ttuckerblues.com).
