Back in the studio for the next few weeks to work on the new album, I hope to have that finished by March next year. Well that’s the plan anyway, still some songs to write, others to finish and a lot of recording.

Have also been working with Simon Townshend on his new material. It’s great to see Simon writing again. We recorded one new song last week which can be heard at the link. Ben Townshend put down some really solid drum tracks and Simon is really on form with some great new material. Ben’s very much come into his own after touring for the last few years and is always a joy to work with. We’ll be recording more material in December.

I’m knocked out to be included in Lee Travathan’s new book. She’s such a gift to the world and really does make a difference with her blogs, books and films. I just wish I had her energy and tireless enthusiasm. I’ll also be doing an interview with her for radio nearer the time of the book launch.

Had a wonderful evening in Putney on the river last weekend, when my good friend and colleague, Buj Stapley tied the knot with the beautiful Claudette. They were married in Montreal but wanted to have another bash for friends and Family in London. Here’s wishing them a long and happy life together.
