Hey guys!

Since I'm obviously not in Michigan anymore, I won't be doing any street performing this summer. I know, cry you a river, right? That's okay though because there are going to be some new and exciting and fun things that will be more accessible (and you won't have to find parking in downtown Holland).

At the moment I'm trying to find a bunch of crazy pop songs to cover. April Schief started me off back in December 2005 with Hey Ya, and now I've been trying to learn as many as I can. Why? Because I figure if I learn a bunch of crazy fun pop songs and play them differently and put them on youtube, maybe people will like them. If you look in my videos, I just uploaded me singing "Crazy In Love" by Beyonce as an example.

So...how can you help? That's easy. Do you have a favorite annoying pop song that they won't stop playing on the radio? Maybe you've got a guilty pleasure as far as music is concerned -- send it to me! You can leave a comment here with the artist and song and I'll do my level best to learn it. Either do that or just send me an MP3 (starlightandsmoke at gmail dot com). Fun whee happy times.

I'm writing a lot of new material. Being down here in the heat has been inspiring me, although not inspiring me to go walk down to Goodwill and turn in my application. Oh well, c'est la vie.
