Welcome to America!!!
That has been, and always will be, the messege to the rest of the world from America. BUT... There are ways to legally enter this great country, and I can't for the life of me figure out what the controversy is. You either broke the law or you didn't. If I get caught in Mexico, or any other country illegally, or without proper immigration papers, then I will most likely go straight to jail, then deported.

But, as usual, America is held to a different standard than the rest of the world, which, to a degree, I understand, since we are apparently the most desired place to live on Earth. The more the merrier, but follow our laws. Show us how much you love America , not by following the rules that so many other immigrants have done.

And don't give me that bullshit about "well your ancestors came here illegally" story. That's like blaming modern whites for slavery. Then we have the myth that Americans won't do jobs that immigrants will do. bull*coughs*shit. Guess what I did when I was younger... Landscaping, labor construction, roofing, framing, drywall and anyother crap job I could get. Now the young people in this country are working mainly at McDonalds and Taco Bell, because a lot of  jobs that used to be there for our young adults and older teenagers are already taken by people who aren't even here legally, not because we won't do those jobs.

Hell, I went to Wal-Mart the other day and was stunned by the number of latino immigrants that were there. Most were walking around like they own the place, and as far as common curtosy, (i.e. "exuse me" or "thank you"), they must not teach that south of the border. Honestly, the Indian immigrants and the Middle Eastern immigrants are far more respectful and more likely to make "small talk" or nod hello back if they're aknowleged.

When did our neighbors to the south start believing that America owes them something? When we've turned the other cheek for so many years, while they bring their sick to be treated and their poor to be helped by welfare, ILLEGALLY, and paying nothing into the system?

Just goes to show, we give an inch, they take a mile.
