Hey Kids!

The deadline of up / stair / fine / art's self portrait show is December 9th.

Please remember that you must first APPLY to be in this show. Please send me a few pics of your work -- it doesn't have to necessarily be the exact piece you're putting in the show -- just an example of your work. Please e-mail me, don't MySpace msg me! elissa@shopcalico.com

You just need to make arrangements to drop off your work, and we will take care of hanging/installing (unless there are some weird special requirements of course.)

Call me (Elissa) at 508.999.4147 to arrange a time to drop off your work. Or feel free to stop by when Calico or The Book Store are open.

Opening Reception will be Thursday, December 13th, AHA Night, 9-12ish PM. I am having a later opening, because Salon Lola is hosting a big opening and music show earlier in the evening.

Here's what you are supposed to do:
1. Go to Salon Lola. Buy things from Sasha and schedule many hair appointments.
2. Listen to The Naked Man Flight, who will be performing there. Give some money or food to them, too. Because they're nice!
3. Buy some art at Salon Lola. (They're doing a fun show of drawings of The Naked Man Flight. YOU can be in it, contact Shelley at idreamofstairs@hotmail.com or it might be yahoo.)
4. Round up everybody at Salon Lola and come over to the self portrait show opening.
