Actually it's a song about being EXACTLY like they are, but not wanting to accept it, see that it's true, or just admit it to themself. It's more like standing next to the guy that's giving someone shit and cheering him on. Afterwards trying to wash your hands clean like you had no part in any of it. In another sense, being the one who was given shit by someone for so long and then turning into what you swore you'd never become. Hypocritical in someway I suppose. I put way too much fucking thought into this paragraph...
