Audium CANCELLED

Are now playing,
The Dirty Animals
http://www.myspace.com/thedirtyanimals
The Dirty Animals are a three piece rock band from Donaghmede in Dublin. Formed in the summer of 2006, the band have been gigging regularly around Dublin playing many venues from the hub to the Crawdaddy. They have currently recorded their first batch of matierial and have been writing new songs too.

The Sound Training centre live students present their sixth gig, at the Music Centre on thursday the 31st of May.
We have 3 talented live acts for you.

Travega
Travega's recording debut came in the summer of 2005 as a 3 track E.P. produced by singer songwriter Declan O'Rourke and recorded by Robbie Sexton of "Blink". Sixteen months later, with a number of sell-out performances in Dublin including Whelans, The Village and Crawdaddy, Travega, now a sextet, released their debut single, "The People", in Ireland on 27th October 2006. The single entered the Irish charts at number 27 and remained there for a number of weeks.
Currently the band is in pre-production for their debut album, which is being recorded and produced, in Canada, by the legendary Garth Richardson - whose work extends to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ozzy Osbourne, Kiss, Alice Cooper, Nickelback and Rage Against The Machine amongst many others.

The Sensors
After the suspect American elections of 2000, Heather Thompson decided she'd better get out of the country while it was still possible. She wandered around much of Europe with her guitar for awhile before settling in Dublin, where the beer is good, though not as cheap as in Budapest, and the record stores are cheap, but not as messy as in London. And what else to do in this fabulous new environment but start a rock'n'roll band?
The Sensors were soon rehearsing together, playing an eclectic mix of rock, punk, and reggae in venues around the city. The group found a very receptive audience; in absolutely no part due to Heather's penchant for cabaret costumes. Heather's songwriting style has been described as a "rockabilly PJ Harvey" and the Sensors have received airplay on Phantom FM, Anna LiviaFM, and Xfm Dublin.

Audium
Noticed as a definite breath of fresh air, Audium are determined to make a notch on the Irish Music Scene, with driving Piano, creative guitar, eclective drumming and a haunting string section. With influences vast and varied, their live performances can go from a soft delicate passage to thundering grooves.
Working from their base in Kildare, they are currently in the studio trying to capture the magic of their live performances through their recordings.
Audium are one to watch for 2007.
