Most of us live in a grid that is simular the one used by the Roman empire.

Creating Public Spaces featuring Fred Kent

Is a video about public spaces. Most of us have a need for a town hall. An exciting place to meet other people however. There are few places in this grid to do that.

For example. A large portion of our cities and suburbs is unused space. This space could be used for something but is not. You could take a large unused space and put some chairs in it. By adding chairs you could make this a meeting place where people could sit down and eat.
