YFA is very excited about some upcoming events as we enter 2009. We
have several shows booked starting in early March. Our set will include
some brand new songs as well as some songs from our upcoming album that
haven't been played live yet. The 1st show we will be playing in 2009
will be at Bernies and will include our friends SK8 Naked and Children
Of Reagan. We are hoping to add a 4th band to that bill in the next
couple days. After that, it is a short road trip to Dayton OH. There we
will be joined by the Whiskey Bombs who feature former members of The
Stoics, Haunting Souls, The Migraines amongst many other great bands.
We are hoping to add another Dayton band to the bill in the next week
as well. After that we are playing at our favorite venue of ever,
Yesterdays in Wheeling WV. We will be joined by Jumpin Bald-headed
Jesus' and others. To round out March we will be playing at the Madlab
for a night of diverse art and comedy events. Check our myspace
calender for the exact dates on all of these shows.



In April we are playing the Treehouse with Accidentally on Purpose
(Dayton OH), Electric Grandmother and others TBA. The goal is to have
this be our CD release show. After 2 years of recording our new album,
we are down to some slight mixing adjustments on two songs then off to
mastering. Unless something unexpected happens, the CD will be out by
our Treehouse show.



After all is said and done, the album (still titled Like A Saint, Like
A Fiend) will have songs that have been recorded at 6 different studios
and been mixed by 4 different people. The end result is a suprisingly
cohesive and fully realized product of our collective creativity. We
sincerely hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do.



In the meantime, our EP Design Of A Death Trap features 3 tracks that
will wind up on our full length as well as a bonus song that won't. It
is available for download at all the major MP3 sites including iTunes,
Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster etc. We are looking at doing a short run of
the EPs for those who did not get one to have available at shows before
the full length comes out. This will probably be the last opportunity
for a physical copy of this EP as no more pressings will be made after
the full length is released.
