„Since the very beginning of our record label we have only produced and released music that corresponds with our own personal taste,” is the guiding principle of the German producer-DJ team Milk & Sugar. It is pretty much surprising they could become that much successful while having this admittedly non-commercial attitude. But first we should take a look on the early stages of Milk & Sugar.

Under the influence of the first discohouse movement that swapped over from London in 1996, Michael “Milk” Kronenberger and Steffen “Sugar” Harning produced their first housemusic tracks. But it turned out to be impossible to get a contract with any significant record label. So they made a virtue out of necessity and decided to found “Milk & Sugar Recordings.”

Even before their international chart successes with “Let The Sun Shine” and “Love Is In The Air”, Milk & Sugar became internationally renowned as one of Germany’s leading House-Acts. Their record label has already released more than 100 productions! And since winning the German Dance Award (GDA) in 2000, they’ve earned even more respect by doing remixes for Jamiroquai, Usher, Janet Jackson, Mya, and also the hit version for Robbie Rivera’s Y2K- smasher “Bang”!

Their recent single “Stay Around for This” turned out to be one of the most successful houserecords of 2007 in Brazil. And even more, it topped the UK Clubcharts twice on position 1: In September 2007 and in October 2008, too, as “Stay Around “ goes into the second round for becoming a massive hit also in Europe.  Also their next production „No No No“ is already on its way. A collaboration with vocalist Roxanne wilde, the youngest sister of 80ies icon Kim Wilde

.Milk & Sugar are not only fully booked-up as producers and remixers, but every weekend they play at the most trendy party locations all over the world, including exotic spots like Hongkong, Brasil or even Sibiria. They are well known for their own style of funky and uplifting house music productions, which can be found in the DJ cases of top-DJs like Pete Tong, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez, Eric Morillo, Basement Jaxx, George Morel, Groove Armada, David Morales, and many more....

Besides all that Milk & Sugar started producing their own radioshows for several danceradio stations worldwide this year (e.g. Ibiza Global Radio, Big City Beats, N-Joy just to name a few) through which they are able to reach hundred thousands of housemusic lovers every week. Additionally they release two DJ-mix Compilations every year: their current “On A Mission 2008” compilation contains 2 CDs, one for the peak time and one for the poolside. Due to their very special contacts to the most important labels in the biz they were once again able to include some exclusive and previously unreleased tracks on their new masterpiece. There will be a CD releasetour from October 2008 until December.
