Hello there!!!

Had a wonderfull time at the Sage accompanying Fran.  She is an astounding singer with a 'natural' voice full of emotion and soul, please i say PLEASE check out her MySpace, she is on my friends list.  She has recorded a new demo with hu hum you'res truely on guitar on one track, her singing is incredible on this as is her lyric interpretation and songwriting (read the lyrics to "It takes so much Time"!!!).  It was an excellent gig, everyone leaving with a massive BUZZ, a great time had by all at The Station Inn afterwords.

Another mate of mine is a gifted singer and musician Lucy Farrell.  We are both such big fans of Richard Thompson that talking about one song can get us into fits of over excitement.  Her haunting voice puts a shiver down you're spine, and also has a great feel for harmonies.  I had a great jam with her the other day and are looking forward to making music again with her sometime.  Her version of "Fine Horesman" by Lal Waterson is chilling, all i can say is if it doesn't effect you there's something wrong with you.  Please check out the MySpace for her band The Vicars of Blythe and the Tea and Toast Band.

Peace, Love and Thanks

Simon
