Last summer, huh? That's cool. I woulda been a little upset if you were in town and I missed the show!! Especially with Pieces of a Dream. I've saw them a couple times when I lived in Alaska and the put on a great show. That brotha that plays the keys has some sort of mental defect!! LOL!! It seemed like he solo'd for 30 minutes and played the keys from every concieveable angle!!! A lot of the acts that came to Alaska back in the day would come and half-step from an entertainment stand point. I guess they assumed that it's small town Alaska and we don't know live entertainment because we don't get much. But with the large military component up there most of the folks attending the shows are from elsewhere. Quite frankly most of the jazz shows that I've seen up there have been the bomb!! Spyr Gyra, Richard Elliot, POD, many of the Guitars & Saxes line ups, etc....
