So lately I've been really agitated and grumpy. I hate it up here in Seattle. The weather is shit and the women, they just ain't horny or something.
So I thought it would be a good idea for me to get the fuck outta town, even for a day, to like straighten my head out and shit. So I talked my best friend Kristin into going on a day trip with me. I didn't have any money, but I needed to get the fuck out, so she payed for the gas. Bless her heart! I owe her bigtime!!
Anyhow. So we decided to just head eastbound on I-90. Out towards eastern WA. Some of you who have not been to WA may not know, that east of the Cascade mountains, it's all pretty much just a desert. It was fucking hot today too. Had the a/c on the whole time. Totally awesome!
So after about three hours of driving, we end up at the Wild Horses monument. It's this fucking cool metal sculpture thingy up on a hill top next to the highway. Real scenic view looking down into the river and across the highway and over the bridge. Kinda in a canyon or something.
Anyways. So the horses are up on this hill, and me and Kristin go climbing up there. Kristin got worn out and started heading down, and I went all the way up. So I'm standing around in the middle of all these iron horses, all by myself, taking pics and just sorta feeling the moment, when all the sudden outta nowhere, SWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A muthafucking F-14 Tomcat goes speeding by right over my head!! Fucking awesome! Then just a second later, a SECOND motherfucking Tomcat goes screaming by! Right in front of me off the hill!! Fucking RAD! So then I look to my right, and there's a THIRD motherfucker coming this way! He's on his side like swooping around this little hill I'm on. Dude I was like totally fucking blown away. AWESOME SHIT!!!
I mean, here I am on this hilltop with all these majestic sculptures of horses in the middle of the desert, looking down at the river in the canyon, and three motherfucking fighter jets go screaming by right by my fuckig head! How rad is that? Pretty much made my day. This is why I love taking road trips. Especially to somewhere you've never been before. You never know what's going to happen, and it always seems to bring you home refreshed and with a different perspective. I always feel more capable afterwards.
Anyhow. If ya wanna see the pics, direct yer browser thingy to http://groups.msn.com/xolo666/daytriptoeasternwa62104.msnw
Have fun and take care everyone.
