I haven't had an emotional impact like this from music since I first discovered the Butthole Surfers and then Joy Division. This stuff makes me feel so many contradictory emotions all at once. Terrified, elated, guilty, justified, alive, numb. I feel an epiphony as I listen through an album. And then at the end, I feel as though I have confessed or some shit. Now I need me some money so I can get me some My Morning Jacket, Mogwai, and ummm, um, some other shit too. I did score a good one though on Friday. Payday of course.
