Cool Review of the Love is Noise Pop show over the the limewire blog:
Beat Radio @ The Delancey 10.4.08

I've written about Beat Radio numerous times in the past, but hadn't seen them live until this weekend, when they headlined the Love Is Noise Pop Festival at The Delancey. Since you're most likely unfamiliar with this Brooklyn treasure, head over to the band's myspace page and stream a few tunes before reading the rest of this review.
Now,
I've spent the past two years listening to this band religiously, in
which time, I've created my own vision of what a Beat Radio show would
look like. For the most part, I was right on. Lead singer/songwriter
Brian Sendrowitz exposes all of his insecurities and heartbreaks
through his music, establishing his shy personality. As imagined, this
uncomfortable nature comes to life on stage -- in between songs,
Sendrowitz awkwardly squirms in his skin, keeping his banter to a
minimum. He prefaces each song with a short descriptive phrase -- "This
song is about...making a Mix-Tape for your Girlfriend."
However,
once the music starts, he exudes a refreshingly humble confidence as he
enters his comfort zone behind the guitar. His vocals shake a little
from nerves, which fall right into place with the lyrical themes.
Throughout the half hour set, the band played a handful of tunes from
their debut EP The Great Big Sea, along with a few new ones from Sunday Matinee.
A passionate performance from Sendrowitz, backed by energetic display
from the rest of the band. You can download most of the songs they
played on BeatRadio.Org.
